Vendors get 72 hours to post from your preferred time. If they fail to post within that time, the order becomes inactive and vendors can't post after the deadline, even if they wanted to. This is why its important you cancel those orders in the Order View yourself, not to have your funds tied down to an inactive order. That way you can put another order in with the same or different account(s).
Vendors are usually really good at posting at your preferred time. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed because they receive many of orders which sometimes results in scheduling conflicts and therefore it's really easy for them to miss the 72 hour window.
